The Allen-Bradley 2711-T5A8L1 PanelView monochrome terminal has a 5.5-inches liquid crystal blue mode display (LCD) which has a resolution of 256 x 128 pixels. This PanelView monochrome terminal operates with the touch screen in which each screen object can occupy 128 touch cells. The 2711-T5A8L1 terminal contains a single data highway plus (DH+) communication port which can communicate with one or more PLC-5, SLC 5/04 controllers or ControlLogix systems on the Allen-Bradley DH+ network. This PanelView monochrome terminal has also an RS-232 which can be connected to either a printer or to the computer RS-232 port for sending files and applications. The Allen-Bradley 2711-T5A8L1 terminal includes 170 kilobytes random access memory (RAM) for runtime applications and 240 kilobytes nonvolatile flash memory. The Allen-Bradley 2711-T5A8L1 supports a memory card which stores applications. This monochrome terminal uses either 2711-NC13 or 2711-NC14 cables to upload and download application files between this terminal and the computer. The Allen-Bradley 2711-T5A8L1 monochrome touch screen terminal supports an input voltage rating range of 18 to 32 volts DC with a maximum power consumption of 18 watts. This 2711-T5A8L1 PanelView monochrome terminal supports 24 volts DC power. The 2711-T5A8L1 terminal should be installed in panels or enclosure to preserve the internal circuitry. This PanelView terminal can operate at a temperature range of 0 degrees to 55 degrees Celsius (32 degrees to 131 degrees Fahrenheit) for indoor applications and weighs approximately 0.93 kilograms (2.1 pounds) while shipping.
