The Allen-Bradley 2711-T10G15L1 is a state-of-the-art operator terminal and is a part of the Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation PanelView 1000 Grayscale series of terminals. The operator terminal can be used in a multitude of applications in industries and factories. The panel is fitted with a 10.1-inch grayscale display which offers the user a clear and interactive interface. The panel uses a touch screen as the input mechanism. This display can be configured by the user to provide an interactive and vibrant interface. It also comes with a 1,008-kilobyte total application flash memory which can be used to store files and applications. The operator is equipped with a ControlNet port which can be used to connect to ControlLogix controller (with 1756-CNB module) or PLC-5 on a ControlNet network. An RS-232 printer port is also provided which can be used to connect to a printer. It can also be used to connect to a personal computer. This allows the user to transfer applications, data, and files to the operator terminal with ease. It can be used in temperatures ranging from 0° to +55°Celsius. It can be stored at temperatures as low as -25°Celsius and as high as +70°Celsius. It can also withstand vibrations during operations up to 2,000 Hz. This operator terminal uses a 24 volt DC connection as its input power. A reset button is provided which can be used to reset the operator terminal to its factory settings if needed. It is enclosed within a 4x or NEMA 12 or 13 enclosure. This enclosure provides durability and ventilation to the operator terminal. It is also fitted with status indicators in the form of green and red LEDs which can inform the user of any problems that the terminal may be facing.
