The 2711-K9A9L1 is a PanelView 900 operator terminal Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation designed to enable easy interface with various machines and allow control through the keypad as well as the display screen. The 2711-K9A9L1 terminal comes with a keypad of 16 function keys, which helps to execute various functions on display as well as numerical, navigational keys that help with the input of decimal, numerical information and select different functions on the display area. The information about the status of the machine is graphically displayed on the TFT 9-inch color screen, which has a display area measuring 6.73 x 5.12 inches and screen resolution 640 x 480 pixels. This terminal has color indicator lights that display FAULT and COMM statuses of the terminal. It comes with an operational temperature range of 0 – 50 degrees Celsius and a noncondensing relative humidity range of 5 – 95 percent. It weighs approximately 7.0 pounds and dimensions of 9.80 x 15.97 x 4.40 inches. The connection with a programmable Logix controller, as well as the other devices, can only be established through the RS-232 (DF1) communication port.
