The Allen-Bradley 2711-K6C5L1 terminal is an electronic user-controlled that creates an interactive environment for the operator and allows him to exercise a degree of control over the components of the system. The human-machine interface provided by the terminal is highly efficient and user-friendly. An RS-232 communication port is provided to configure the terminal with a DH-485 network. A 2711-NC14 communication cable is also provided to improve the connectivity and communication capabilities of the terminal. The keypad present on the terminal can be used to enter data into the system. Numeric entry keys with digits ranging from 0 to 9 are provided to enter numeric values. The keypad can also be used to input decimal and negative values. The terminal is highly versatile and can be used in conjunction with a variety of applications and systems. The terminal unit has an internal application flash memory of 240 kilobytes and the memory capabilities can be further improved by using an external memory card. An Ethernet connection can also be used in conjunction with the terminal to relay messages and instructions to remote devices such as printers and scanners. A feedback system is also present and can be used to improve the performance of the system. With a display size of 5 inches, the 2711-K6C5L1 terminal is easy to use and highly flexible when used with a system of devices.
