The Allen-Bradley 2711-K6C2 is an operator terminal that uses cutting edge technology to offer an optimized control and communication package to the user. The terminal functions over a highly efficient DH-485 network and can be used to control and monitor the status of multiple remote links. A 1747-UIC communication cable can also be used in conjunction with the DH-485 to enhance the strength of the network. This operator terminal is an electronic color terminal that supports over 32 Enhanced Graphics Adapter (EGA colors). These colors can be determined during the creation of each application and remain fixed during the selection of options and functions on the terminal. The terminal screen also supports message displays which can include alphanumeric characters, variables, graphics, and strings. Numeric data displays can also be used effectively with the system. Along with supporting the DH-485 communication port, this module also comes with support for the 1747-UIC communication cable. Users can control, view, and monitor status information on connected devices in a graphical manner. The resolution on the 5 inch wide screen is 320 x 240. For power, this module requires 85 to 264 volts alternate current. 240 kb is the internal memory rating on this module, which is non-volatile.
