The Allen-Bradley 2711-K6C1 PanelView standard color terminal has a 5-inches active-matrix thin-film transistor (TFT) display with cold cathode fluorescent (CCF) backlight which supports a fixed palette of 32 standard EGA colors with a resolution of 320x234. This PanelView color terminal operates with the stainless steel domed membrane keypad which involves 10 function keys from F1 to F10 for navigation. The 2711-K6C1 terminal contains a single remote I/O communication port which allows a scanner or sub-scanner connection to a remote I/O network and a single RS-232 communication port which can be connected to either a printer or to the RS-232 communication port of a computer for transferring files and applications. The Allen-Bradley 2711-K6C1 terminal includes 170 kilobytes random access memory (RAM) for runtime applications and 240 kilobytes nonvolatile flash memory. The 2711-K6C1 terminal employs 1747-SN with shielded twin axial cable (1770-CD) for runtime communication with controllers. This terminal uses either 2711-NC13 or 2711-NC14 cables to upload and download application files between a computer and this terminal. The Allen-Bradley 2711-K6C1 color keypad terminal supports an input voltage rating range of 85 to 264 volts AC at frequencies from 43 hertz to 63 hertz with a maximum power consumption of 60 volt-amperes. The 2711-K6C1 terminal should be mounted in a panel or enclosure to protect the internal circuitry. This PanelView terminal can operate at a temperature range of 0 degrees to 50 degrees Celsius (32 degrees to 122 degrees Fahrenheit) for indoor applications and weighs approximately 2 kilograms (4.4 pounds) while shipping.
