The Allen-Bradley 2711-K10C8X is a PanelView human machine interface (HMI) operator terminal that enables users to interact with electronic devices. This operator terminal allows data entry and control through a keypad with 16 function keys (F1 through F16), numeric keys, as well as navigation and confirmation keys. It displays device parameters through a 10-inch color active-matrix display. The HMI is designed with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and a 50,000-hour LED backlight life at room temperature. The HMI has an application memory of 310 KB at runtime and 1008 KB nonvolatile memory (for application objects, text and bitmaps). It requires a power supply of 85 to 264 volts AC at 47 to 63 Hz at room temperature (25 °C / 77 °F). The PanelView operator terminal also supports an ATA memory card for storing data files and applications.
The operator terminal is compatible with various Allen-Bradley controllers including the PLC5, SLC500, CompactLogix, ControlLogix and MicroLogix controllers. It can also be connected to 3rd party external devices or smart hardware like protocol converters and gateways. The operator is compact and easy to use with physical dimensions of 11.11 x 16.64 x 4.40 inches, a display area of 211 x 158 mm (8.3 x 6.2 inches), and an approximate weight of 3.7 kilograms (8.2 pounds). This HMI can be installed in NEMA Type 12/ 13 or 4X (Indoor) rated enclosed spaces.
