Allen-Bradley 1761-HHM-K64 is a handheld memory (HHM) module manufactured by Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation as part of the MicroLogix 1000 product line. It is designed and intended for use with a hand-held programmer. The unit features a memory capacity of 64 kilobytes and is capable of storing up to 8 programs. Before it is inserted on to the handheld programmer, the programmer must be first disconnected from the power to prevent faulting of the controller or prevents possible damage to the 1761-HHM-K64 handheld memory module. For more safety measure of this memory module, it should be handheld using the ends of a carrier or by plastic housing edges. Additionally, touching the module with bare hand with dirt or oil can create a layer on the surface of electrical components and reduce electrical contact. This memory module is highly sensitive to electrostatic charges, which may destroy or alter the memory module. This device is an accessory to the Micrologix 1000 series of controllers. The Allen Bradley 1761-HHM-K64 hand-held programmer memory module has 64 kilobytes of memory, which allows it to store a minimum of eight (8) programs. The memory module can be modified with the MicroLogix 1000 hand-held programmer, or HHP, by transferring programs to and from the module. It allows for the creation, editing, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Boolean or Instruction List programs for MicroLogix 1000 controllers. 

The Allen Bradley 1761-HHM-K64 hand-held programmer memory module has an LCD (liquid crystal display) display. This display can show up to two (2) lines of text at once, with each line capable of displaying up to sixteen (16) characters. This device is also equipped with a keypad that is made of rubber/carbon and is color coded. This hand-held programmer memory module requires an input voltage rated at 24 volts direct current (DC). Additionally, the rated operating power of this module is specified as two (2.0) watts. The suitable temperature for the device to be operated in should range from 0 to 50 degrees Celsius, or the equivalent temperature range of 32 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit. When storing this module, however, the appropriate temperature ranges from -20 to 60 degrees Celsius, or -4 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. The humidity levels suitable for this device are 5% to 95% non-condensing. This memory module can withstand an operating shock, as well as a non-operating shock, rated up to 50 G at peak acceleration for a duration of 11 milliseconds, plus or minus 1 millisecond.
