The IC697PWR724 is a 24 Volt DC, 90-Watt power Supply module manufactured by GE Fanuc. The IC697PWR724 is a power supply module in the GE Fanuc 90-70 Series. The module operates with 24 Volts DC and provides three (3) output voltage options for a total of 90 Watts, which includes +5 Volts DC output of 18 Amperes, +12 Volts DC output of up to 1.5 Amperes, and -12 Volts DC output of up to 1 Ampere. The IC697PWR724 module features slide-in rack mount construction, electronic short circuit overcurrent protection on the 5-Volt bus, and two rack operation.
The power supply mounts on the rack and plugs directly on a 48-pin backplane mounted connector in the leftmost slot of the rack. The module can provide +12 Volt, -12 Volt, and +5 Volt power and logic level sequence signals to the backplane. It can be easily used in a single rack application. Moreover, this power supply module can provide the users a power for the second rack assuming the load is within the supply rating of the module. Interconnection with the second rack is made through a prewired IC697CBL700 cable. The output of the power supply rides through 10 milliseconds of input power loss at full load. The over-voltage and over current fault conditions are protected. This power supply module requires 24 Volts DC power for operations. It can be operated at an input voltage ranging between 18 to 32 Volts DC. For operations at a temperature exceeding 50 degrees Celsius or 122 degrees Fahrenheit, the maximum power output must be derated.
