The GE Fanuc Emerson IC697CPX782 is a 96 Megahertz, 32-Bit, Floating Point CPU with 1 Megabyte of memory. This hardware serves as a single-slot CPU with three serial ports and provides 1 Megabyte of battery-backed memory in the same slot. Additional features of the IC697CPX782 include 256K of non-volatile user flash memory, BMA support (7.92 or later), and support of floating-point calculations. The IC697CPX782 has 12K inputs and outputs and up to 8K analog I/O. The microprocessor used for this module is an 80486DX4 (96 Megahertz). It has configurable program and data memory, a battery-backed calendar clock, a three-position operation mode switch, and password-controlled access.
