The IC693PWR330, a power supply for the programmable logic controllers, is from the 90-30 GE Fanuc Automation product line. The device is a high capacity power supply version, which can be plugged into a leftmost baseplate of the controllers and systems of PLC in the said series. The easy integration of the device with the 90-30 PLC(s) makes it time and cost-effective. This specific device allows a high capacity power supply between modules and other peripherals, mostly automation. The device has three outputs and 6 terminal points and has a 5VDC limit for overvoltage protection. The device can deal with both AC and DC inputs. It can operate on an input source for voltage that ranges from 58V to 264V AC. Whereas for DC, its input voltage source goes from 100V to 300V DC. The module can allow more than +5V DC even when the limit exceeds the device range. It does it by utilizing a 30W load to be consumed from the 5V DC rated supply. Besides, the input power ranges of this device are 100VA with VAC or 50 W with VDC. Moreover, the nominal rated voltage range is 120/240 VAC or 125 VDC. Apart from the input and nominal power ranges, the device has a holdup time which is 20 milliseconds, minimum. Furthermore, for communication, the device allows ports from the standards such as RS 485, a common serial port for most of the GE Fanuc's power supplies.
