The GE Fanuc Emerson IC693PWR322 is an output power supply that delivers an electrical power of 30 Watts. The IC693PWR322 supports an input voltage range from 24 to 56 Volts DC. The IC693PWR322 delivers three (3) different output voltages with different electrical powers: 5 Volts DC with an electrical power of 15 Watts, isolated 24 Volts DC with an electrical power of 20 Watts, and relay 24 Volts DC with an electrical power of 15 Watts. The IC693PWR322 includes single fuse protection that has a current rating of 5 Amperes. The IC693PWR322 has five (5) LED status indicators at the front side of the power supply. This power supply supports an overvoltage range from 6.4 to 7 volts DC and an overcurrent of 4 Amperes on the 5 Volt DC output.
The IC693PWR322 power supply supports a maximum input power of 50 Watts at full load and an inrush current of 4 Amperes within a short time of 100 milliseconds. The IC693PWR322 delivers a total electrical power of 30 Watts. The IC693PWR322 has a holdup time of 14 milliseconds and includes an RS-485 serial port. This power supply offers the possibility to be supplied through a lithium back–up battery which can be connected through the front side battery connector. The IC693PWR322 power supply can be easily installed in the left slot of the 90-30 system baseplate. This power supply operates at zero (0) to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit) for industrial applications.

Even though it can function with voltage sources as low as 18 VDC and keep all outputs within parameters, it will not operate with voltage sources less than 21 VDC. The device offers an easy installation which saves both time and cost. Since it has a LED status panel embedded on the top left of the unit, which contains POWER, OK, RUN and BATT buttons, users can check on the state of the operation with this small panel. The device requires 21 to 56 VDC for the startup and 18 to 56 VDC for running. The input power is 50W maximum at full load. And the inrush current surge is 4A peak, 100 ms maximum. The device has a 14 ms minimum holdup time. Apart from that, the protection limits feature includes overvoltage, which ranges 5V DC output at the 6.4 to 7 V and overcurrents, which ranges 5 VDC output at the 4amps max. The overvoltage protection is chipped inside the module to Pin-4 of the terminal strip. A jumper cable has usually linked the pin to Pin-3. The device has a 15-pin D-type female socket that can be easily reached via the power supply's front panel's door. It also enables communication with a PLC serial interface, which can be used to connect with a computer system.
