IC693PCM311 is a series 90-30 PLC’s programmable Coprocessor module with a total memory of 640K, out of which 190 is available for the MegaBasic program. The module doesn’t support working with boards that have embedded CPUs of series 311. 313, and 323. IC693PCM311 can support C and MegaBasic languages. This module can also be used as an RTU master with GE Fanuc software. Slot 1 or the main CPU slot of the module shouldn’t be used while installing the CPU module. Expansion baseplates and remote don’t have extra slots so these devices don’t support the IC693PCM331 module. IC693PCM331 can be operated in two different modes, run mode, and program mode. To change between the modes of the module, push the restart button. It also has two ports and three LED indicators. The first LED can indicate that the module is working and it stays on. The remaining two LEDs show the status of both the ports. Users can, however, customize these two LEDs.
IC693PCM331 consists of a Lithium battery for maintaining the program in the module’s RAM memory. A battery mounting clip is used to attach the battery to the faceplate of the module. The part number of the battery in the module is IC396ACC301. The user needs to plug the battery into the module for first use and unplug it from the module if it is being stored for some time. To use the ports of the module, use IC693CBL305 cables to connect the ports to the module. IC693PCM331 module comes with one cable that splits the port connections from one connector. IC690CBCL701/702/705 cables can be used to connect the PCM module to serial ports with RS-232 converters or RS-232 ports.
