The IC693MDL730 is a 12/24 Volt DC positive Logic 2 Ampere Output module. The device can work with the 90-30 Series Programmable Logic Controllers. It can provide eight (8) output points in one group, sharing a common power input terminal. The IC693MDL730 has positive logic characteristics. The module sources the current from the positive power bus or the user common and provides the current to the load. The module can be operated with several different output devices including solenoids, motor starters, and indicators. The output device needs to be connected between the output of the module and the negative power bus. The user is required to set up a power supply to provide the power for operating the field devices.
There is an LED block on top of the IC693MDL730 module. The LED block has two (2) horizontal rows of green LEDs. The first row is labeled A1 and the other is labeled as B1. The A1 row has 8 points from 1 to 8 and B1 has points 9 to 16. These LEDs indicate ON/OFF status for each point. There is a red LED labeled F, located between two (2) rows of green LEDs. Whenever the red LED turns on, the fuse is blown. The module IC693MDL730 has two 5-Ampere fuses. Fuse 1 protects outputs from A1 to A4 while the second fuse protects A5 to A8. Both the fuses are connected to the same common electrically. The IC693MDL730 has an insert to go between its hinged door’s surfaces. During the operations, the door needs to be closed. The inside surface of the module has all the information about circuit wiring. On the outer surface, users can record the circuit identification information. IC693MDL730 is a low voltage module and can be denoted by blue color-coding on the outer left edge.
