The IC695PMM335 is a high performing multi-axis motion controller that offers an easy-to-use servo motion control module. The servo motion-controlled module is closely integrated with the problem-solving ability and logics of central processing unit of PAC systems RX-3i and its communication functions. This is a multifunctional movement control device that unites machine logic with extremely cohesive motion with scalability, flexibility, and implementation of advanced machine automation. The IC695PMM335 features four (4) servo axes plus an additional virtual axis.
The IC695PMM335 motion controller module can control up to four (4) servo axis. A time-based axis which is a virtual axis is also available with an extra external encoder. Eight modules can be added in a single rack for forty axes. The IC695PMM335 has a built-in faceplate I/O that has four general purpose 24 Volt digital inputs and two high speed 24 Volt digital inputs with the ability of wire fault detection. The faceplate I/O is also configurable for motion specific functionalities like touch probe inputs, over travel limit switches, home switches, and A quad B encoder and marker inputs for axis 5 only. It supports an optical fiber I/O terminal block (FTB). The position loop update rate of IC695PMM335 is 500×10-6 sec. The velocity loop update rate is 125x10-6 sec. The motion patch planning is done every 1 millisecond for all five axes. It also offers a synchronized startup of up to eight axes. The PMM335 utilizes a ramping function to synchronize a slave to a moving master for both the gearing and camming function. Two electronic gear modes are available in the controller module which is simple velocity synchronization and velocity/position synchronization. The IC695PMM335 is designed specifically to be compliant with PLC open specification for movement control.
