The GE Fanuc Emerson IC695PBS301 is a PROFIBUS slave module that can be employed for Rx3i PacSystem on a PROFIBUS DP network. This module supports all PROFIBUS data speeds. The device can exchange automatically data and information with a master module without bus access rights. This module acknowledges only the received messages or can send data to a master after a request. The IC695PBS301 can read input data of 244 bytes from the network and transmit output data of 244 bytes. This device provides DP-V1 write, read, and alarm messages. This module draws a current of 440 milliamperes at a voltage of 3.3 volts DC. The unit can be easily mounted in an RX3i universal backplane.
The IC695PBS301 has three LED indicators that are located on the faceplate to show the power and communication status of this module. This PROFIBUS module can be upgraded through the WinLoader software utility.
