The IC670MDL233 is an input module by GE Fanuc. It is the one of the members of GE Field Control product family. It has eight isolated discrete inputs and its rated voltage is 120 VAC. The input user current for this module is 13 mA. The bus interface unit provides power to the input module. For every individual input point there is a LED present that indicates the status of that particular input point. An input point can either be active or non-active. Moreover there is a power LED that lights up when the module is powered and has backplane current. For the input the voltage range is 0 to 132 Volts AC. The time that the module takes to respond is 10 to 20 ms. This module has a special filtering feature by default. The input signal can be filtered with help of parts embedded in the module. Isolators are also present to provide isolation between different components present inside the module. In this module the point to point isolation rating is approximately 300 V AC. The frequency of this module is from 50 to 60 Hz. The maximum value of bus interface current drawn is 40 milliamps. There is on state voltage and an off state voltage. For the on state the range varies between 70 to 120 Volts AC whereas for the off state the range varies between 0 to 20 Volts AC. All installation guidelines have to be followed so that the module can work accurately.
