The 1791R-8B8P module was designed and produced by the company known as Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation. This module is an eight (8)-point direct current (DC) CompactBlock remote input / output (I/O) module. This Allen Bradley unit has around four (4) to eight (8) inputs for each block. Additionally, this unit has the same number of outputs for each block. The list of electrical specifications for this module includes an input on-state voltage of ten (10) volts direct current (DC) minimum, as well as an input off-state current of one-point-five (1.5) milliamperes minimum.
