The Allen Bradley 8520-S10 is a system module from the Bulletin 8520 series of products. This system module is a 9-440 resolver-based unit. It is used as a CNC control unit and is designed to integrate digital servo drives. In addition, this module can be employed to provide an excellent level of control to CNC lathe and milling machines. Since this model can use CN programming functions on the drive systems, it aids in the seamless integration and provides flexible applicability. This unit's AC input voltage range is 380 volts AC to 460 volts AC. It can draw a maximum of 15 amperes of current, and the frequency range of this system module is 50 to 60 hertz. The DC output range of this module range from 8 to 10 kilowatts at a DC output voltage of 530 volts DC to 680 volts DC. The DC output phase is 1, drawing 15 amperes on this voltage range. The AC input voltage range of this module is 24 volts AC rms, while it has 3 alternating current (AC) input phases. With these power specifications, this product is capable of working with various servo drives from the Bulletin 1326 series of products from Allen Bradley. This module has a servo loop update time rated at one (1) millisecond. Furthermore, this device can be coupled with powerful algorithms that enable precision over motor and ensure enhanced motor performance. As a result, it can optimize motor performance and reduce the cost in a typical industrial automation control setting. However, the users should follow the maintenance guidelines by the manufacturer to apply this device to the motors.
