This 2707-V40P2 motor features a vacuum fluorescent display (VFD) that consist of four (4) lines with twenty (20) characters display per each line. This product of Allen-Bradley is compatible with a highly reliable liquid crystal display that offers easy readability in all light conditions. The motor has 40 Kilobytes of memory that can support nearly fifty to two hundred and forty-four (50-244) screens of data and 110 to 300 Volts DC of input power. The display size is 1.3 x 3.9 inches and the motor features an ASCII input with RS-232C and RS-485 serial communication ports. The 2707-V40P2 offers an optimized functional operator interface to the two primary processors of Allen-Bradley like PLC and SLC. The motor comes with an interface that offers users extra flexibility and convenience that is needed for controlling the data process from the plant floor.

The 2707-V40P2 should be attached to SLC family processors by using DH-485 network or point to point modes. The user must communicate remote I/O’s by using a 1747-SN scanner. The PLC-5 processors are designed to communicate by remote I/O or DF1 through channel zero (0) RS-232/ RS-422. The screen displays data table information that indicates alarm conditions and alerts the operator. The process data alarm screens permit the user to control and monitor critical information and do a comparative analysis of actual data and current limits. Multiple screens can be linked as a single recipe by using this device. The input capacity of the device supports ASCII data inputs such as barcode data by using an optional RS-232 printer port. The display drive is ideal for broadband communication over the factory and warehouse floor.
