The Allen-Bradley 1203-SG2 is considered as a splitter expander module that provides a distance of 3 meters (9.75 feet). This module can be employed with all Allen-Bradley SCANport devices. The module provides two communication ports. The 1203-SG2 offers a maximum distance of 10 meters (33 feet) from the drive. This device can operate at an altitude of up to 1000 meters (3300 feet) without deterioration. This module supports a non-condensing relative humidity range from 5% to 95%. The splitter expander module can be employed with 1305 series of drives in many applications.
The 1203-SG2 can be stored in a safe environment that shouldn’t be full of condensation or corrosive at a temperature from -40 to 70 degrees Celsius (-40 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit). The module contains an Allen-Bradley 1202-C30 wire that is employed to connect to a SCANport drive. This device supports a voltage of 480 Volts AC.
