The Allen-Bradley 825-PDN DeviceNet Communication Card is an modular addition for a DeviceNet environment. Specifically, this communication card adds functionality to the Allen-Bradley 825-P Modular Protection System to provide for an immediate digital link to other devices on the automation network. This card must be installed in the Slot C expansion / communication slot on the rear of the Allen-Bradley 825-P Modular Protection System. The Allen-Bradley 825-PDN DeviceNet Communication Card draws 0.085A of maximum required input current directly from the DeviceNet network at an operating range of 11 to 25 Volts Direct Current. The Allen-Bradley 825-PDN DeviceNet Communication Card features a maximum power rating of 2.04 Watts.
The Allen-Bradley 825-PDN DeviceNet Communication Card can fully withstand an operating shock of up to 30G and it will tolerate vibrational forces of up to 5G at a frequency range of 10 to 500Hz. This Allen-Bradley 825-PDN DeviceNet Communication Card will facilitate communication at transmission rates of 125, 250, or 500 kilobits per second, over distances of 500 meters (1640 feet), 200 meters (656feet), or 100 meters (328 feet), respectively. The 825-PDN DeviceNet Communication Card is rated for a functional temperature range between -5 and 60 degrees Celsius (23 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit), at a relative non-condensing humidity level of 5 to 95%, and it is suitable for storage in an environment with a temperature rating between -40 and 60 degrees C (-40 and 140 degrees F). Features of the Allen-Bradley 825-PDN DeviceNet Communication Card include fault mode recovery, DeviceLogix component technology, and standing indicators.
