The Allen-Bradley produced 825-MCM5 825-P is a current conversion module for Allen-Bulletin Bradley's 825 smart motor series. It has a working current value of 1-5 amperes and is used to manage the current of the motor by the use of a current controller. This unit is used to regulate the current flowing through the motor. This converter device, which features an IEC rating voltage level of 690 volts AC and a UL functional voltage level of 600 volts AC, is only interoperable with Allen-Bradley created Bulletin 825-P devices. The converter module's broad working current limit allows it to manage current variation of 1 ampere to 5 amperes at almost the same time. It also has steady thermal current flows of 6 amperes. It has 60 amperes of reverse saturation current and a maximum of 6 kilovolts rated impulse strength.
The 825-MCM5 converter is capable of functioning at a maximum ambient temperature of 60 degrees Celsius and a non-condensing ambient moisture content ranging from 5 to 95 percent, depending on the application. This module can be deployed at heights of up to 2000 meters and can withstand a 30 G operating shock for 18-millisecond time periods, and also a 3G vibration at frequencies that vary from 10 and 500 hertz. The converter is enclosed in an IP20-rated container that has been tested and authorized by the UL, the CE, and the CSA, among other organizations. Approximately 0.570 kilograms is the weight of the 825-MCM5 current converter module. Additionally, it has an overall dimension that measures 120 mm x 85 mm x 102 mm.
