Part number 825MCM20, which was designed and manufactured by Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation, is a current converter module. It is part of the Bulletin 825P series of products. Unbalance and phase loss, over current (load jam), short circuit, ground fault (residual), ground fault (zero sequences), frequency, and a variety of motor start/run inhibit protection during the startup. The 825MCM20 module is specifically designed to be compatible with a wide range of line starting applications, including low and medium voltage with two or three potential transformers, phase current transformers, zero-sequence current transformers, modules External RTDs, reversing starters, star-delta starting, and two-speed motors. The 825MCM20 has an operating voltage that meets IEC and CSA/UL standards, i.e., 690 volts AC (IEC) and 600 volts AC (CSA/UL), and a nominal impulse force of 6kV. It has an operating current range of 2.5 to 20 amperes, a constant thermal current of 24 amperes, and a saturation current of 240 amperes. The working frequency range of this module is 50 to 60 hertz, +/- 3 hertz. This module has five (5) discrete inputs, one Form C, one Form A, and latching contact outputs, as well as a PTC thermistor input that can be daisy-chained with up to six (6) PTC sensors. This device has an operating temperature that should range from -20 to +60 degrees Celsius. The temperature range for storing this device should remain between -40 degrees Celsius and +85 degrees Celsius. The surrounding area of this device should have relative humidity levels of 5% to 95% and be non-condensing.
