The Allen-Bradley 6181F-17TSXP is a VersaView 1700P integrated display industrial computer. This standard computer includes a 17-inch (432 millimeters) TFT (thin-film transistor) active-matrix display with a touch screen. It comes with a solid-state drive that has 16 GB of minimum capacity. It is operated by 100 volts to 240 volts alternating current and features a bezel made of aluminum.

The 6181F-17TSXP is an integrated display industrial computer from the VersaView series that combines a TFT flat-panel display with industrial computing capabilities. The computer is responsible for the graphical interface, maintenance, and basic application information processing. The 6181F-17TSXP is a 1700P model and comes with a standard package. It is powered by an Intel Celeron M423 CPU and has a 1.06 GHz base frequency, 1M L2 cache, 533 MHz of bus speed, and 5.5 watts of thermal design power. It has 2 gigabytes of installed system memory. The computer also includes one Type II CompactFlash card slot and is bootable. It also contains a 2.5-inch CompactFlash solid-state drive with a minimum capacity of 16 GB but no optical disc drive. The 6181F-17TSXP is rated for NEMA Type 1, 12, 4, and IEC IP66 enclosures. The computer comes embedded with a 17-inch LCD display, four USB ports, and two Ethernet ports. It contains a single serial COM port for serial data transfer. It also has a microphone-in jack, an audio line-out port, and a line-in jack. This industrial computer also features a power switch that quickly switches on and off. It also features a touch screen for operator input, with a controller that connects internally to a USB connection.
It has an alternating current (AC) input power and an input voltage range of 100 to 240 volts. It has an operating frequency of 47 through 63 Hz and a peak power consumption of 100 volt-amperes. This computer supports the Microsoft licensed operating system, XP Professional SP3.
