The 5069-OF4 is an Allen-Bradley module. This is an analog output module that is included in the Compact 500 I/O series. It is compatible for use as a distributed I/O component with controllers in the CompactLogix 5380 and GuardLogix 5380 product families. It features 4 output channels that support current or voltage output signals. The module’s resolution is 16 bit with an R-Ladder Digital to Analog Converter. Scan time is 1 millisecond and the conversion time is rated at 25 micro seconds per channel. Supported output voltage ranges are +/- 10V, 0 to 10 Volts, and 0 to 5 Volts. Supported output current ranges are 0 to 20 milliamperes and 4 to 20 milliamperes. The 5069-OF4 features short circuit and open circuit detection capability. The module comes calibrated by the manufacturer but supports recalibration by the user. 4 LED status indicators are integrated that give information about I/O status along with one dedicated status indicator for module status. The 5069-OF4 has a slot width of one module. It has measurements of 144.57 x 22 x 105.42 millimeters (5.69 x 0.87 x 4.15 inches) and is mounted using a DIN rail. The DIN rail can be the EN50022 - 35 x 7.5 mm (1.38 x 0.30 in.) DIN rail or it needs to be zinc-plated and made of chromate-passivated steel. A Removable Terminal Block (RTB) is required for signal wiring. Compatible RTB models are the 5069-RTB18-SCREW and the 5069-RTB18-SPRING units.
