The 5069-L306ERS2, which was designed and manufactured by Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation, is a programmable automation controller (PAC) as part of the Compact GuardLogix series of products. The 5069-L306ERS2 can be programmed remotely via one of the Ethernet ports or through a field console via a standard USB connection cable, using ladder diagrams, block diagrams, structured text, or sequential block diagrams. The controller supports up to eight (8) input or output modules and sixteen (16) Ethernet / IP nodes. In addition, the controller has 0.6 MB of user memory and 0.3 MB of safety memory. The module's supply voltage ranges from 18 to 32 volts DC, and its supply current is 450 milliamperes. The maximum supply current of the MOD is 5 amperes, which must not be exceeded by the module. It also has a 1200 milliamperes MOD power inrush for 125 milliseconds. The sensor/actuator supply voltage is 0 to 32 volts DC and 0 to 240 volts AC at a frequency range of 47 to 63 hertz, with a S/A supply current of 10 milliamperes via a DC supply or 25 milliamperes via an AC supply. The power dissipation rating of the 5069-L306ERS2 is 8.5 watts, and the heat dissipation is 29 BTU/hr. The 5069-L306ERS2 measures 143.97 mm x 98.10 mm x 136.81 mm (5.67 inches x 3.86 inches x 5.39 inches) and weighs 0.768 kg (1.693 lbs). The module must be attached to a DIN rail and can only be mounted horizontally. The open case of the 5069-L306ERS2 requires it to be mounted in a panel to protect it from harsh industrial environments.
