The 5069-L306ERM from Allen-Bradley is a programmable automation controller from the Logix 5000 controller series. This controller has 0.6MB user memory with a built-in 2GB 1784SD2 Secure Digital (SD) non-volatile memory card. These onboard memories are ideal for the needs of small to mid-size applications, and for applications that require a larger memory area, the non-volatile memory in this controller can be expanded up to 32 GB using 32 GB 1784-SDHC32 memory. Other memory cards compatible with this module are 784-SD1 (1 GB), 1784SDHC8 (8 GB) and CodeMeter 9509-CMSDCD4 (4 GB) Cmcard. The controller has up to 8 I/O modules and 16 EtherNet nodes. It can support a maximum of 32 socket interfaces. It has one USB type B and two Ethernet/IP ports and has a communication speed of 10 Mbps / 100 Mbps / 1 Gbps. These ports support linear, star, and peripheral level ring (DLR) topologies. The controller can handle 32 tasks, each task running 1000 programs. This controller has built-in motion axis support and can support up to 256 motion axes. This controller can be programmed using a sequential block diagram, block diagram, structured text, and ladder diagram. The 5069L306ERM has an operating voltage range of 18 to 32 volts DC with a current rating of 450 milliamps. The module has an inrush power of 850 milliamps for 125 milliseconds. The sensor/actuator supply voltage ranges from 0 to 32 volts DC, 0 to 240 volts AC, 47 to 63 Hz with a current range of 10 milliamps (DC), 25 milliamps (AC).
