The 500-GOD930 is an open-type AC (alternating current) contractor, which belongs to the bulletin, 500 contractors. It features top wiring connections to provide ease for wiring. And it is only applicable for three-phase applications. It does not offer the feasibility of ordering individual components as it is factory assembled product. It is UL as well as a CSA-certified product.

The 500-GOD930 features NEMA size 6. It has a continuous current rating and service limit current rating of 540 and 621 amperes, respectively. It has the following maximum power rating (in horsepower) corresponding to 3 phase motor loads voltages; 150 hp @ 200 Volts, 200 hp @ 230 Volts, 300 hp @ 380 Volts, 400 hp @ 460 - 575 Volts. It has a maximum rated inrush current of 6326 amperes on circuit closing including offset. It has a rated capacitor switching of 160 kVAR at 230 Volts, 320 kVAR at 460 volts, and 400 kVAR at 575 Volts. It includes a coil with the following electrical ratings; 110 Volts AC (alternating current) at a frequency of 50 hertz and 120 Volts AC at a frequency of 60 hertz.
It has a mechanical life of 5 million operations. It offers a maximum of 4 auxiliary contacts, which are normally open contacts (N.O). It has an average pick-up and drop-out operating time (in milliseconds) of 25 - 70 and 10 - 22. Its power contacts are made up of silver alloy, and the material for auxiliary contacts is silver. It is operated in a horizontal position.
