The 500-COD930 is an AC contactor that is designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley. The contact is a NEMA Size 2 contactor. Its rated voltage is 120 VAC. It is used for many different types of industrial applications because of its multiple features. This module is CE certified and used globally. It is an important member of the 500 contactor series. One of the key features of this module is that it has one auxiliary contact that is normally open and it has a surge suppressor. Unlike other modules, this module only supports AC whereas some members of the series also support DC. This contactor is either available as a kit or as an individual separate component. This is very useful as users can purchase individual components to replace the ones that are damaged and do not work. They do not have to buy the whole kit if one component is damaged. All wiring connections are available aon the top of the module. The 500-COD930 is used widely in single phase and three phase applications. Exposing the module to liquids or condensation can result in serious damage to the module and the system. There is no derating observed even at an altitude of 10,000 feet. All guidelines should be properly followed during the installation process so that accurate results can be achieved. For a eutectic alloy overload relay, the operating temperature is -13 to 149 degrees Fahrenheit and incase of SMP overload relay the operating temperature is -13 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit.
