The 2198-CAPMOD-2240 is a capacitor module from Allen-Bradley. This module belongs to the Kinetix 5700 series from Allen-Bradley. It is specially designed to be used as an additional attachment for Kinetix 5700 series devices. After this module is paired with devices from the Kinetix 5700, it ensures just the right amount of power is supplied to the connected module. The 2198-CAPMOD-2240 ensures proper energy storage. Also, it can be deployed to extend the DC bus of the module and establish a smooth connection with other inverter clusters. It also helps with linking an external shunt module to this capacitor module. 

The 2198-CAPMOD-2240 is a capacitor module that can be paired with modules that supply an external direct current (DC) power supply. However, it should only be paired with modules that can supply an external current of 104 amperes. It can also be paired with other conjunction modules. When pairing with such a module, this capacitor can withstand a current rating as high as 208 amperes. It is ideal for general installation that supports zero stacks. Also, installation takes only a few seconds and minimal effort.  

The 2198-CAPMOD-2240 supports easy installation configuration. It ensures that the connectors on this module are perfectly spaced. When the spacing is correct, this module can be paired with a shared BUS connection. The installation must not be so difficult that it fails to reach the DC bus studs. In particular settings, this module can be paired with multiple similar modules. Each of the modules helps with enhancing the energy storage of the capacitor, as well as the overall capacitance rating of the system.
