Part number 140U-I6C3-C20 is a circuit breaker that was designed and manufactured by Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation. This device is a thermal circuit breaker and is designed in such a way that requires it to be used in conjunction with a starter and to be connected to motors and other types of equipment that require current protection. This breaker comes with a single National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) type one enclosure that protects the module and shields it from solid particles. However, it must be kept in mind that the enclosure does not keep liquids away from the breaker. Furthermore, this Allen Bradley breaker can be used in a vertical, horizontal, upper, or lower position.

The 140UI6C3C20 circuit breaker is a part of the Frame I series and consists of the magnetic trip with a starter that isn't adjustable. When properly selected and installed by operators, the combination of the breaker and any overload relay provides protection against short-circuit and ground fault damage caused by abnormal currents. This breaker also protects motors in continuous operation from over current and branch circuits. In addition to everything that has been stated above, this Allen Bradley circuit breaker has three (3) poles that are all connected to each other, and the poles react by tripping as soon as an overcurrent is detected. This thermal circuit breaker features a voltage of six hundred (600) volts of alternating current (AC), as well as two hundred and fifty (250) volts of direct current (DC). The rated current trip when this device is operating continuously is 20 amperes.
