Allen Bradley?s 1797-OE8H is the FLEX Ex series input/output module that contains 8 single-ended and non-isolated outputs and HART analog functions. It is a 13-bit resolution device having a load range of 0 to 22 milliamperes and an available voltage of greater than 15 volts. This device has a load of 0 to 680 ohms at 22 milliamperes and 0 to 770 ohms at 20 milliamperes. Its data format is configurable.

Part number 1797-OE8H is an input/output module with eight (8) outputs and HART analog functions. This module was designed and manufactured by Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation for data communication. This device has a best and worst update time for module from adapter communications of 200 and 1600 microseconds. This device has 8 fault indicators, 1 green power indicator, and 8 yellow HART communicator indicators. Its output channel 0 has an intrinsically safe value of less than or equal to 21.6 Volts, 92 milliamperes, and 500 milli-watts. Additionally, its transfer characteristics show an accuracy at 20 degrees Celsius of 0.1 percent of the output signal range, as well as a temperature drift of 0.010 percent per degree Celsius of the output signal range. This device is powered by an intrinsically safe dual voltage power supply with terminals rated at 34 and 50, 35 and -51, sporting an input voltage into the device of 9.5 volts DC, 1 ampere, and capacitance of 120 nF. It has a field side power consumption of 6.1 watts and a thermal dissipation of 20.8 British Terminal Units per hour (BTU/hr), as well as a power dissipation of 5.4 watts.

1797-OE8H is designed and manufactured for use with conductor wire sizes of a maximum of 4 squared millimeter stranded wire or 1.2 millimeter insulation. This device has 4 key switch positions and can be operated in temperatures ranging from -20 to +70 degrees Celsius, as well as stored in temperatures ranging from -40 to +85 degrees Celsius.
