The 1794-OA8 is a digital output module and it comes with outputs that are not separated and they are eight in total, and this module is manufactured by Allen-Bradley. This output module the following has output voltages, all in AC, min 85 Volts, max 132 Volts, and nominal 120 Volts as its input voltage. At a temperature of around 55 degrees Celsius, An on-state current rating of 5 milliamperes min for each output and 500 milliamperes max for each output, is present, and at a temperature of 35 degrees Celsius, a current rating of 750 milliamperes max for each output is present. The Allen-Bradley 1794-OA8 AC can handle 7 Amperes of surge current for a time span of around 40 milliseconds and at 5 Volts direct current a FlexBus current of 80 milliamperes. The 1794-OA8's outputs are not separated, but, 120 Volts back to back isolation voltage from the field to the backplane for a time span of around 60 seconds and 1250 Volts isolation voltage for a time span of 60 seconds are manageable by the entire module. On the field side, there are eight yellow LED status indications and one LED indicator for each output. It does not come with an enclosure, thus for safe operation in industrial situations, it should be mounted in one. The 1794-OA8 has a maximum power dissipation of 4.1 Watts at 0.5 Amperes and 6.3 Watts at 0.75 Amperes and 1 Ampere. At 0.5 Amperes, the highest thermal dissipation is 14 BTU/hour; at 0.75 Amperes, it's 21.2 BTU/hour; and at 1 Ampere, it's 21.4 BTU/hour.
