The Allen Bradley 1794-IT8 is a thermocouple/millivolt Input Module, commonly referred to as a Flex I/O module. It has a total of eight input channels that are compatible with the J, K, E, R, N, S, B, C, T, and L sensors that accept millivolt signal +/- 76 5mV voltage range. In addition, it has a nominal input voltage range of is -76.5 to 76.5 mV, and its isolation voltage range is 850 Volts DC. Apart from that, the module's noise rejection in normal mode is -60db at 60 Hz, with a channel bandwidth of 0 to 2.62 Hz. This thermocouple input module's normal mode system throughput range is 325 milliseconds. The flex bus current range is 20 mA on this module, and its thermal dissipation at 31.2 Volts DC maximum is 10.2 BTU/hour. The terminal base units 1794-TB2, -TB3, and -TB3T are where the module is located. Concerning configuration, users must adjust the key switch on the base to state three since this is necessary for this module to be mounted and used correctly. Besides that, the block transferring technique on this input module enables it to communicate with PLCs. Likewise, the same technique is based on input signal data words transferring between the PLC's memory and a specific area in the data table. The users should check the manufacturing guidelines for the use of the latest programming tools and other significant temperature ratings for the proper maintenance of this input module.
