Allen-Bradley's 1784-U2DN cable is a USB to Device-Net connection cable with a length of 0.61 meters that allows users to connect to a DeviceNet network via a USB port on a personal computer. The cable also has an IP 20 safety rating. This cable's host interface is a USB connection with one (1) open-fashion male five (5)-pin phoenix connector. The 1784-U2DN cable is also compliant with CTick, Conformite Europeenne, Korea Certification, and Underwriter Laboratories standards. The cable has a node deal with selector transfer on one end, which may be flipped around to pick exclusive node addresses. A mounting mechanism is also included within the wire for easy installation. Operators must make sure that the connection motive power has been established at the PC prior to installation. The information charge transfer is an update that allows you to adjust the verbal exchange rate to 125, 250, or 500 kilobits per second. When the cable can't find a communicational charge, it will fall back to a twenty-five (25) kilobits per second facts fee. The fallback information charge may be changed manually or with the RS-Net Worx Device-Net tool. The standing indication on the 1784-U2DN cable is a blue and pink LED that lets operators keep track of network activity, the modules' status, self-test, as well as standby mode status. This wire must not be exposed to temperatures more than 55 degrees Celsius. Furthermore, the cable uses 0.5 watts of power, with USB voltage delivery of five (5) volts direct current (DC) at 75 milliamperes and Device-Net energy supply of 24 volts direct current at 75 milliamperes.
