The Allen-Bradley 1783-ETAP is a sophisticated Ethernet/IP network port that is equipped with the Embedded Switch technology. The port is compatible with a variety of devices and can be configured over Ethernet/IP networks to enhance the communication capabilities of the industrial automation system. The port can be used as both a power port and a communication port and its versatile features allow it to be used in a wide array of industrial applications. The port can be assembled in accordance with the conductor rating and is used to specify the wire-category of the port.
