The Allen-Bradley 1769-IA8I compact AC digital input module has 8 individually isolated inputs. The 1769-IA8I operates between 79 volts and 132 volts AC at frequencies from 43 hertz to 63 hertz. This module can be employed by controllers such as the CompactLogix controller or the MicroLogix 1500 controller. The 1769-IA8I module can be employed in several applications mainly in the industrial field. The 1769-IA8I module can be assembled with a 1769-ADN DeviceNet adapter or with a 1769-AENTR Ethernet adapter. The 1769-IA8I module offers the flexibility during the installation and mounting steps with two mounting M4 or #8 panhead screws for well-grounded panel mounting or on a DIN rail. The minimum on-state voltage for this module is 79 volts AC and the input delay is 20 milliseconds. The 1769-IA8I digital input module draws a maximum on-state current of 12 milliamps and a minimum on-state current of 5 milliamps. This Allen-Bradley 1769-IA8I digital input module can be supplied through 1769 Compact I/O power supplies such as 1769-PA2, 1769-PB2, 1769-PA4, 1769-PB4 power supplies except when connected to a MicroLogix 1500 base with a current consumption of 90 milliamps. The normal impedance of the 1769-IA8I module is 12 kilo-ohms at 50 hertz and 10 kilo-ohms at 60 hertz. This 1769-IA8I module supports shielded or twisted-pair Belden 8761 wire or equivalent wires.
