Each channel's working voltage range is 20.4 to 26.4 volts DC. The 1762-OB8 is often used to execute control instructions that are triggered as a consequence of program processing by the controller, including lamps, buzzers, horns, annunciators, solenoid valves, cylinders, magnetic contactors to activate pumps, motors, relays, and other ON/OFF units are all standard units that may be attached to any channels on this module. This module should be installed next to the MicroLogix controller. This ribbon wire is the MicroLogix bus, which distributes power to other modules. The current consumption of the module is 115 mA at 5 volts DC with a rated power of 0.575 watts. The total heat dissipation of this device is 1.61 watts.

Maintain a 2-inch space on all four corners this module and install a suitable cooling or heating mechanism to keep the working temperature in the range of 0 and 55 degrees Celsius. The suggested wire size for this module is #14 É22 AWG for solid wires and #16 É22 AWG for stranded wires, with a Cu-90 °C (194 °F) insulation rating. Tighten termination screws to a maximum torque of 0.904 Nm (8 lb-in). Isolate the module from analog instrument grounding by grounding it to a suitable grounding object.

This module comes with a paper label on which you may write the output identifier. To keep cables in place, route them beneath the pressure plate. A stripped wire can be terminated straight or with a spade lug for a more secure connection. 6.35 mm (0.25 inch) spade lugs are compatible.

When every channel is terminated, it is suggested to use the stated wire size. This allows the module enclosure to be closed and the troubleshooting room to be preserved. Termination may still occur if the instructions are not followed; however, wiring issues may arise, particularly during troubleshooting. This procedure is necessary for the MicroLogix 1200 controller to identify and operate the module correctly.
