The 1761-NET-AIC is a MicroLogix 1000 advanced interface controller manufactured by Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation as part of the MicroLogix 1000 product line. This unit uses the DH-485 communication to connect to other network devices. The 1761-NET-AIC advanced interface controller is specially designed and intended to fit in various small logic controllers. Besides, it is compatible with the MicroLogix 1000, 1200, and MicroLogix 1500 controllers which power the converter. The controller also features an advanced interface converter that is designed to provide a maximum point-to-point communication and RS-232 to half-duplex user mode ASCII isolator. It supports a DC power supply of 24 volts that is connected to an external power terminal. The communication rate filter of the converter matches the rate of network communication with the communication-rate selector switch. Allen Bradley 1761-NET-AIC advanced interface controller is designed is compatible with the SLC processors, and it can interconnect the SLC 500, 5/02, 5/01, and SLC 5/03 processors. Allen Bradley 1761-NET-AIC advanced interface controller is suitable for RS-232 to RS-485 isolator or point-to-point isolator.
