The 1761-L16NWB is a MicroLogix 1000 controller manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation as part of the MicroLogix 1000 product line. It is a portable and pocket-friendly programmable controller that fits in small panel space. This controller comes with 16 inputs and outputs with 24 volts DC sink and source or a power of 24 volts AC for ten inputs as well as six contact outputs. The controller has a real input power of 5 watts at 24 volts DC, an isolation voltage of 1500 volts AC and a 1K-word EEPROM. It features several ports. These communication types support half-duplex slave protocol for SCADA applications, direct connection, upload and download of programs, and peer-to-peer communication, among others. Allen Bradley 1761-L16NWB MicroLogix 100 controller has over 65 instructions for the applications, and the module can operate in up to five different languages. This controller also features a program scan time of 2 milliseconds and an input and output scan time of 0.21 milliseconds. It comes with a total of 40 timers and 32 counters. The controller has a master-control relay safety feature, and it supports a DIN rail mounting type, or it can be mounted using screws while leaving sufficient spacing in the enclosure to allow for heat dissipation. This controller is designed and intended for use in the category II non-hazardous industrial environment with an operating temperature of 0 – 55 degrees Celsius and 20g maximum operating shock.
