The 1732E-OF4M12R module was designed and produced by Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation. This module is an ArmorBlock dual-port Ethernet/IP 4-point input and output module that has a rated voltage of 24 volts direct current (DC). This module has four (4) light emitting diode (LED) operation indicators. The off indicator signals to the operators that the outputs are inactive and need to be calibrated. Flashing green indicates that the channel is being calibrated, while green indicates that the output is active and under control. Flashing red indicates that there is a fault, with ed indicating that the auxiliary power is disconnected or off.

The 1732E-OF4M12R module has four (4) outputs with the lowest resolution being sixteen (16) bits. The data is stored in a sixteen (16) bit sign magnitude format with a conversion time of two (2) milliseconds. Furthermore, this module has a 1-kilohertz notch filter on each channel, and the input current range is zero (0) to twenty (20) milliamperes. The voltage input range of this device is zero (0) to ten (10) volts. The module has a 25 kilo-ohm input impedance per channel and a 0.1 percent full scale accuracy at twenty-two (22) degrees Celsius. The maximum operating input voltage rating of this Allen Bradley module is thirty (30) volts direct current (DC), with a minimum voltage rating of twelve (12) volts DC and a power rating of twelve (12) to thirty (30) volts at three hundred (300) milliamperes. At 24 volts DC, this module has a typical power consumption of 3 watts. This module's voltage is 50 volts when operating continuously.
