The Allen-Bradley 1715TADOB8DE is a termination assembly that is manufactured to be a redundant I/O module. It has 8 input/output channels that are protected with 50 milliAmpere rated fuses for each channel. It allows for digital output and constitutes a duplex configuration. The input/output voltage ranges from 18-32 Volts DC and 0.5 Amperes per channel and releases a maximum power of 3 Watts. The field loop is rated at 0.17 Watts per field loop. The recommended tightening torque is 0.5 Newton-meter for effective mechanical, thermal and electrical characteristics. Exceeding the screw torque may cause terminal damage. The selected screwdriver of type flathead has a width of 0.4 by 2.0 centimeters. The continuous isolation voltage is rated at 50 Volts and the level is designed to withstand surge voltage is the basic insulation level.
