The 2711P-T12W22D8S terminal is usually mounted vertically on the surface of a panel or enclosure at an angle of zero degrees. The terminal should not be mounted in an area where it will be exposed to direct sunlight. The terminal should be mounted with a top clearance of 51 mm (2 in), a bottom clearance of 51 mm (2 in), a side clearance of 25 mm (1 in) on the side without the SD card, or 51 mm (2 in) on the side with the SD card. The terminal should be mounted in the door or wall of a NEMA or UL Type enclosure. The terminal can be mounted in an IP enclosure if the enclosure offers IP20 or greater protection. Operators can view the current operating state of the terminal or process. The terminal's display screen can show users both graphic and text displays. The terminal’s hardware monitor feature provides users with status and troubleshooting information for the terminal. With this feature, you can view all the terminal's current processes, as well as the memory use of each process. The monitoring feature also gives users access to the system event log that shows warnings and errors. This feature also gives users access to the monitors tab. This tab shows operators a variety of information relating to the terminal, including a visual representation of the battery and a voltage reading of the battery for the real-time clock. Battery conditions can range from depleted, less than 2.0V, low, 2.0-2.74V, or normal, 2.75V or higher. The battery voltage information is read at the time of the terminal’s startup. This tab also displays the temperatures of the terminal’s CPU, logic board, and display. A normal temperature is any temperature in the 25-94 degrees Celsius (77-201 degrees Fahrenheit) range, while a high temperature is considered anything above 95 degrees Celsius (203 degrees Fahrenheit).
