The 2711P-RP6 logic module is a logic module with 128 Megabytes of flash storage and 128 Megabytes of RAM. The module is developed by Rockwell Automation and it is part of the PanelView Plus CE family of logic modules. It runs with DC power and it is a Series F device. The module is certified with an IP65 protection rating. It is resistant to water sprays and splashes. For internal connectivity, the module is equipped with a DF1 Ethernet/IP port. The 2711P-RP6 logic module has been certified with both the IEC 60068-2-27 and the IEC 60068-2-6 shock and vibration ratings. The module can be operated in a temperature ranging between 0 and 55 degrees Celsius. No conformal coating is applied on the outer surface of the module, but the module is equipped with multiple peripheral I/O interfaces. It comes with 1 USB 2.0 port and 2 USB host ports.

The 2711P-RP6 logic module is equipped with a CompactFlash card slot. The module has been marine-certified and it can be used in harsh environmental conditions. The module comes with file viewers which can read documents. This module is used with different operator interface devices. It is mainly used for monitoring and controlling devices connected with the ControlLogix 5570 and the CompactLogix 5370 systems. The installation of the module should be done in an environment free from EMC noise. The presence of EMC noise may degrade the performance of the module. The module should not be operated anywhere with a temperature beyond the maximum temperature range specified by the manufacturer. The 2711P-RP6 logic module can be mounted in different locations, but make sure that there is adequate space around the mounting area before mounting the module.
