The Allen-Bradley 2711P-K6M20D corresponds to the PanelView Plus 600 terminal series. It has a 5.5-inch diagonal grayscale passive matrix display, fabrication technology of film compensated super-twisted nematic (FSTN), and a pixel density of 320 pixels × 240 pixels.  It measures 10.47 inches x 6.58 inches and has a 4.4 inches x 3.3 inches effective display surface.
It has a keypad with a 1 million press actuation rate for input. It has 17 numeric keys (0,...,9), Enter, Backspace, Right Tab, Left Tab, Shift), ten function buttons (F1,...., F10), and four arrow keys for navigation (left, right, down, and up). It has a CCFL backlight and a lithium battery with a minimal lifetime of 50,000 hours and five years, resp. It has an input voltage ranging from 18 volts to 30voltes of direct current type, a nominal voltage of 24VDC, a peak power usage of 25 watts, and thermal dissipation of 85 British thermal units (BTU) per hour.
The communication module contains an RS-232 port, a USB connector, an Ethernet port, and a network interface. The RS-232 port allows for serial communication with controllers.  Ethernet and RS-232 ports allow for application uploads/downloads as well as printing. It contains a 350 Megahertz NEC VR5532A MIPS (Million instructions per second) Processor, 64 MB SDRAM, and 64Megabytes of internal memory. Also, it contains a socket for CompactFlash cards, which can hold up to 512Megabytes of internal memory.
