The 2711P-K6C20A8 is a PanelView Plus 6 600 terminal that executes HMI applications and provides access to the desktop. It has a base unit that unites the display, power, communication (networking), and logic modules. The 2711P-K6C20A8 features an Ethernet interface for controller (PLCs mainly) connectivity. It features one host (type A) and one device (type B) port for USB connections. The terminal also incorporates an RS-232 port in its base unit for serial interface. The 2711P-K6C20A8 also supports an SD card slot. The terminal has an internal memory of 512 MB of nonvolatile memory and 256 MB RAM. The terminal is outfitted with a 5.7-inch color (18 colors) active-matrix LCD (TFT)  with a white LED Backlight (min 25,000-hour life and non-replaceable) with a brightness of 440 Nits. The keypad has a stainless-steel membrane and has an actuation rating of one million presses. There are ten functional keys (F1 through F10), directional keys, and numeric keys on the keypad. The terminal has six mounting slots to fit it on the panel. It has a compartment for the battery and two indicators to identify the communication and fault status. It has a default switch and reset switch to restore factory default settings and reset the terminal, respectively. The module weighs around 1.60 pounds. The 2711P-K6C20A8 requires an AC power supply to provide 100 to 240 volts at an allowable frequency of 50 to 60 Hz. A maximum of 35 VA of power can be extracted from the power supply by the terminal.
