The 2711P-B7C4A1 by Allen Bradley is a PanelView Plus 700 operator terminal HMI (human machine interface) that allows users to interface with machine devices deployed on factory floor. The HMI allows control and user input via keypad and touchscreen and displays information through a 6.5-inch color display. The resolution of the display is 640 x 480 pixels. The keypad buttons are located around the boundary of the display screen, whereas the touchscreen can be found along the display. The 2711P-B7C4A1 operator terminal provides built-in support for colored graphics which can be utilized in color coded animations and conveying process or machine status to users.

The 2711P-B7C4A1 operator terminal carries out external communication via Ethernet, DH-485 and RS-232 communication ports, and uses the 1761-NET-ENI communication cable(s). The 2711P-RN20 Ethernet communication module can be used with PanelView series 700 to 1500, when a second Ethernet port is required. The module is equipped with its own IP address that is unique to the unit. The Ethernet port has an RJ-45, 10/100 Base-T connector for over the network communication and provides MDI/MDI-X connection support capability. This operator terminal unit requires an input voltage range of 100 to 240 volts AC at frequency of 47 to 63 hertz and has a rated power consumption at 25 watts maximum, or 1.0 amperes at 24 volts DC. It has an internal random-access memory (RAM) capacity of 64 megabytes and a flash memory capacity of 32 megabytes.
