Furthermore, this terminal module allows communication with third-party devices, protocol gateways, and also another mode.
The integrated Ethernet port enables connection speeds of up to 10/100 Mbps with auto-negotiation and may be utilized in liners or simplex networks. For redundant Ethernet I/P networks, this operation terminal is appropriate with stratix or Allen-Bradley ETAP switching. The RS232 port is generally used for point-to-point connections and is ideal for internal communication and data sharing. It has customizable baud rates and can only traverse short distances. The USB ports enable the installation of USB devices, such as a keyboard, for external input. Additionally, a detachable memory stick for external drives of the storage unit may be inserted.
This terminal integrates 512-Megabytes of the non-volatile storage unit and 512-Megabytes of random-access memory (RAM), that can be increased with Protected Digital features including the USB drives or 1784-SDx, as previously indicated. It has a touchscreen and a keypad interface that operate concurrently and may be used in conjunction with one another during operation. The display panel is 5.7 inches in size and has a resolution of 320 × 240 pixels and 18-bit color graphics.
