2711P-B6C20D is a PanelView Component terminal by Allen-Bradley. For low-level applications with a serial connection, this component-level operator interface provides a control and visualization solution. Web application creates Human-Machine Interface (HMI) applications while your computer is connected directly to the terminal. The direct result shows on the terminal display without having to download it first. Its size is 6.15 x 4.86 inches with an active display area of 4.4 x 3.3 inches. It has 5.7 inches of Color transmissive TFT active matrix LCD with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, a cold-cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL) backlight with a minimum life of 50,000 years, and a keypad & touch for input. The keypad has ten function keys (F1,...., F10), 17 numeric keys (0,..,9, -, Backspace, Enter, Left tab, Right Tab, Shift), and four arrow keys (up, down, left, right). It has a cold-cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL) backlight with a minimum of 50,000 hours of life. It has an input voltage range from 18VDC to 30VDC with a nominal value of 24VDC, maximum power consumption of 25 watts, and heat dissipation of 85 British thermal units(BTU) per hour. It has a multi-purpose RS-232 port that supports DF1 full-duplex communication with controllers using direct/modem connection, DH-485 communication through a serial connection, application uploads/downloads, third-party point-to-point communication, and printing. It has an ethernet port to support internet communication, and a USB port to attach external devices such as a printer, keyboard, bar code scanners, and other devices. It comes with NEC VR5532A MIPS (Million instructions per second) CPU with a processing speed of 350 MHz, 64 MB PC100 SDRAM, and internal storage of 64MB. It supports version 3.20… 5.
